Twilight star Kristen Stewart certainly has a knack for taking something ordinary and making it look super chic. We recently reported on how she’d taken the humble bobby pin and turned it into an actual work of art with an edgy, criss-cross design, and now she’s opted for another hair accessory!
Proving that headband hairstyles aren’t just for schoolgirls, the 26-year-old actress attended the 2017 Sundance Film Festival rocking an effortless pushed back ‘do, complete with an ’80s-style sporty sweatband. Now, we don’t know about you, but we’re taking this as confirmation that headband hairstyles are officially fashionable again – the proof is below!
Kristen Stewart is bringing back headband hairstyles
Kristen, who was at the Sundance Film Festival for the premiere of the new short film, Come Swim, debuted this look on the red carpet and we immediately took note. Why? Well, because we were used to seeing the star rocking a peroxide blonde hair hue, but it seems that she’s decided to return to her dark brown mane for the new year.
As well as debuting a new hair colour, Kristen wore her short hair pushed back, and held her strands in place with the help of a sporty red, white and blue striped sweatband. If you ask us, this retro look is both pretty and practical! Her parred-back style perfectly complemented her rock’n’roll outfit and smoky eye make-up, too. Way to go, Kristen!
