Zendaya
Zendaya managed to scoop up the favourite female TV star award – yet it was her hairstyle that won it for us in the All Things Hair office! The 20-year-old’s dark raven locks were styled into a slick centre parting, with a voluminous low ponytail that had been backcombed to perfection.
Editor’s tip: Fancy recreating Zendaya’s funky ponytail? To mimic her contrasting textures, first use the Toni&Guy Sleek Definition Cream to smooth down the hair at your crown. Then, using a fine toothed comb and the VO5 Dry Backcomb Spray, tease your ponytail towards the roots to create masses of volume!
Dove Cameron
We lost count of the number of bow hair accessories we spotted over fashion month and Dove Cameron clearly took note! The Disney star’s creamy blonde locks were swept up into a sweet ballerina bun and topped off with a chic black bow. We love the way that her elegant updo made the most of her strapless green gown, flaunting her décolletage and dainty necklace – is it just us or does she look like a real-life Tinkerbell here?
Demi Lovato
Demi Lovato has been rocking uber long, Rapunzel-length locks for a while now, so you can imagine our surprise when she stepped onto the orange carpet rocking a newly-chopped lob haircut! Opting for a relaxed wavy style, it helped to accentuate the luscious caramel balayage tones in her hair, too.
Editor’s tip: A few spritzes of a sea salt spray, like the Toni&Guy Sea Salt Texturising Spray, will help you to emulate Demi’s natural, beachy movement at home – all with minimum effort!
Bethany Mota
YouTube sensation Bethany Mota rocked up to the event wearing her long brunette mane in big, glamorous curls. Her lengthy, side-swept bangs were also curled away from her face, making for a subtle detail, which really helped to open up her face and bring out her deep brown eyes.
Editor’s tips: To ensure your curls stay looking as full and bouncy as Bethany’s, make sure to set your style using a strong hold hairspray, like the VO5 Voluptuous Waves Creation Hairspray. We particularly like this one as it can be used both before and after styling, making it easier to create your curls.
Gwen Stefani
Gwen Stefani’s adorable sons accompanied her to the awards ceremony, looking every inch the yummy mummy in this edgy ensemble! She glammed up her casual, military-style shirt dress by teaming it with a polished ponytail. As you can see, a section of her platinum blonde hair had been wrapped around the base of the style, for a twisted origami effect that we’re totally in love with!
