Choppy hair - Kaley Cuoco - Blonde highlighted pixie

Kaley Cuoco lightens her tresses for summer with a cool sherbet hue

So sweet we can almost taste it!

Summer is here and with it a call for a new-season hue. And in true summer style, The Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco has ditched her golden blonde locks for a new sherbet shade!

Revealing her new hue on her Instagram page, the actress is clearly embracing summer by waving goodbye to her staple warm-blonde hair for a cool, icy shade that is sure to be the colour for summer.

Now, if you’re yet to see Kaley’s new sherbet-inspired hue, don’t fret: we have all the deets right here, so just keep scrolling for the big reveal.

In a bare-faced selfie, the actress took to Instagram to thank her hair stylist Faye Woods, with the caption: “Thank you @faye.woods for giving me some dreamy sherbet hair ? ?? #nofilter ??”.

From holographic hair to marble-inspired hues, we’re always on the look out for trends in the making – and we suspect sherbet hair will be a colour to keep on our style radar this season. Credit: @normancook

Kaley’s new sherbet hue received a very warm response from her army of fans, with people praising her ‘beautiful’ and ‘amazing’ new look. And we have to say, we totally agree: it really brings out a warming touch to her pale complexion.

Instead of switching from her golden tresses straight to her new sherbet hair, Kaley made a work-in-progress hair transformation, by originally going for an icy hue in early June. Credit: @faye.woods

And this isn’t the first time the actress has wowed us with a new look; remember back in 2015 when Kaley cut off her locks for a choppy pixie? It’s clear that Kaley is not afraid of a hair challenge and we can’t wait to see what she has in store for us next.

Editor’s tip: If you’re thinking of colouring your tresses for summer, we suggest opting for a colour-safe wash and care system, like the Dove Colour Care Shampoo and Conditioner. With it’s unique formula it gently cleanses and protects hair, while also helping to maintain your hue for longer.
