For the Carolina Herrera fashion show, celebrity hairstylist, Orlando Pita drew inspiration from the ancient art of Japanese paper-folding (AKA origami). The name was cleverly coined because of the sculptural and minimalist aesthetic that the half-up hair trend holds. So, don’t be surprised if the models’ ultra smooth, super straight tresses seem to resemble ‘folded’ paper – it’s completely intentional!
