Game of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke on the red carpet with her brunette hair in a sleek low bun

Emilia Clarke is now rocking short hair with bangs & we can’t get enough of her new look!

She's joined the bangs brigade!

Game of Thrones fans will be used to seeing actress Emilia Clarke rocking flowing ice blonde locks when playing the part of Daenerys Targaryen. In real life, though, the star sports a natural brunette hue and somehow manages to pull both off shades effortlessly!

However, when Emilia showed up to a glitzy pre-BAFTAs party earlier this week, it was actually her new hair cut, rather than colour, that caught our attention. The 30-year-old had undergone a pretty major mane transformation, and is now rocking bob hair with bangs!

If you’re yet to see Emilia’s edgy new ‘do, just keep scrolling…

We’re loving Emilia Clarke’s new bob and bangs combo

At the star-studded soirée, the British actress debuted her new dark brown tresses, that had been trimmed into an on-trend shaggy bob. Emilia has also ditched her previously sweeping side fringe in favour of an edgy, choppy fringe.

For the red carpet event, her mane was styled into soft, textured waves, ensuring that most of the attention was kept firmly on her new bangs. Pairing her chic new ‘do with an incredible gold Chanel jacket, she looked every inch the fashionista.

While Emilia’s brunette shaggy bob hair with bangs is oh-so-chic, we are kind of missing her trademark platinum locks. But don’t fret: she’ll soon be back to blonde when GoT returns for the final season later this year!

Editor’s tip: If you’re tempted to try out a fringe like Emilia, dry shampoo will become your new hair BFF. Fringes are more prone to oiliness, so a quick spritz of the TRESemmé Instant Refresh Volumising Dry Shampoo will help to freshen up your style, allowing you to go an extra day between hair washes!
