Models wore flowers in their hair for Chanel’s Pre-fall 2017 Collection (and so can you!)
Flowers are in, according to Chanel's runway!
Yesterday saw the Chanel Pre-fall 2017 Métiers d’Art show take place at the ever glamorous Ritz hotel in Paris, where top models such as Cara Delevingne and Lily-Rose Depp strutted their stuff down the runway. And while the collection had its usual air of elegance and refinement, it was given a refreshing update, with the addition of some rather extravagant flower hair accessories!
Now, these weren’t just any hair accessories, oh-no – they were so chic, they’d be appropriate for an audience with the Queen! So, if you haven’t yet seen these fashion-forward floral headpieces, just keep on scrolling…
Chanel Pre-fall 2017: Models hit the runway with flowers in their hair

Model Sofia Richie (daughter of singer Lionel Richie!), walked the runway in a long-sleeved, tweed ensemble, which was complemented by her low, loose ponytail.
The outfit may say ‘classic Chanel’, but the hairstyle says ‘undone and fabulous’, being topped with black and white silk flowers – we’re loving this playful new twist more by the second!

Catwalk queen Cara Delevingne’s hair was also fashioned into a loose ponytail, but was given a bright pop of colour, with the addition of some embellished pink and orange flowers.
We also love how her ponytail had been tied with a velvet ribbon at the base, making for a simple styling hack that we can’t wait to try out for our next party look!
Editor’s tip: Want to know which product you need to make your ponytail look effortlessly undone? The VO5 Dry Texturising Spray, which will help give your mane the messy, tousled texture needed to create this flirty low ponytail.

And if you thought that things couldn’t get any more sophisticated, you’d be wrong! Models were also sent down the runway donning birdcage veils, with the floral hair accessories affixed to the delicate netting.
Veils may not be anything new for the fashion brand, but we were nonetheless pleased to see their return for the Chanel Pre-fall 2017 collection!
