Catherine McNeil has cut her hair short and got a bowl cut
The bowl cut is back in town!
Australian fashion model Catherine McNeil is renowned for her long, flowing brunette locks, having been part of her signature look both on and off the runways. But, alas, Catherine’s long tresses are no more: the star has shocked us all by chopping her strands for Fashion Week and is now sporting a super chic bowl cut!
While we initially thought her short ‘do was a wig (it’s hard to tell nowadays!) when she debuted it at the Alexander Wang Fall/Winter 2017 show, her latest appearance on the Lavin runway has proved us otherwise.
In the past, bowl haircuts haven’t had the best rep in the short hair arena, but recently the cut has had a mini revival (we’re looking at you Zendaya!) and now we can safely say: we’re completely obsessed! So, to have a peek at Catherine’s stunning new hairdo, keep scrolling…
Catherine McNeil waves goodbye to her long locks!
Taking to the Lavin runway at Paris Fashion Week to debut her new, edgy short hairstyle, the 27-year-old’s tresses quickly became a hot topic. The dramatic cut rests just above her eyes, helping shorten her long face shape, while perfectly flattering her stunning features!
We also love how Catherine’s bowl cut has been styled to have loads of enviable texture and movement in it (which can be achieved using the TIGI S-Factor Creamy Molding Wax), giving her overall look that edgy, cool-girl vibe!
And, though we’ll miss Catherine’s long locks, we’re sure you’ll agree: she looks mesmerising with a cute cropped mane.
