The all-female line-up of BRIT Critics’ Choice Award nominees
Get to know: Jorja Smith
The 20-year-old English singer has already been picked up by huge names in the music industry, in the UK and across the Atlantic.
With not one but two features on Drake‘s More Life album (and supporting him on his UK tour), plus a collaboration with Kali Uchis already under her belt, we wouldn’t be surprised if Jorja Smith was already a name on your lips.
Braids
If you’re a lover of protective hairstyles, then we suggest making Jorja Smith your latest girl crush. Jorja is often spotted with her hair in box braids, wearing them hanging loose or styling them in a host of updos, from buns to ponytails. Credit: @jorjasmith
Blonde buzzcut
2017 has been the year of buzzcuts, with the likes of Cara Delevingne and Kristen Stewart opting for the close-cut style (not to mention model of the moment Adowa Aboah embodying the look). But did you know that Jorja Smith was sporting the style in early 2017? No, us neither!

’90s vibes
If ’90s styles are your go-to look, take note of Jorja, who channelled serious Briney Spears vibes in this pic. Styling her platinum blonde long tresses with a baby pink bandana, Jorja looked picture perfect in this snap. #instagoals Credit: @jorjasmith
Editor’s tip: If you’re thinking of colouring your tresses a platinum hue like Jorja, we suggest using the TIGI Bed Head Dumb Blonde Purple Toning Shampoo to maintain your colour vibrancy.
Get to know: Stefflon Don
Stefflon Don has been making huge waves on the music scene this year with her hit song Hurtin’ Me featuring French Montana. Yet it’s not just her catchy tunes that we love about the British rapper and singer, it’s her Nicki Minaj-esque tresses, too!
Platinum waves
If you follow Stefflon Don’s social media, you will know she is a lover of bold hairstyles – but it’s her platinum blonde hue that she always returns to over and over again.

Colour chameleon
From turquoise tresses to citrus tangerine, there is no shade Stefflon Don hasn’t tried; but our fave is this gorgeous smokey lilac hue. And what better way to show off your new hue than by styling your tresses with a mixture of tight and loose curls (before posting a selfie pic on Instagram, of course). Credit: @stefflondon
Get to know: Mabel McVey
First things first, Mabel McVey has music running through her blood, as her mother is none other than ’90s R&B singer Neneh Cherry – it was a shocker to us, too! Taking influence from ’90s sounds and style, Mabel is certainly one to watch for 2018.
Rapunzel tresses
Showing off her long mane, Mabel’s Rapunzel-length hair is simply gorgeous. Often letting her long dark brown tresses take centre stage, Mabel styles it straight and with a centre parting for her own spin on the Kardashian-loved hairstyle. Credit: @mabelmcvey
Editor’s tip: Before using heated tools on your tresses, be sure to prep your strands with the TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Heat Protection Shine Spray, as not only will it protect your strands but your hair will have a salon-smooth finish, too!
Topknot goals
When Mabel is not showing off her long tresses, she often wears her hair in our fave everyday look: a topknot bun. Keeping her tresses smooth and frizz-free, Mabel’s street style look is certainly one to copy this party season. Credit: @mabelmcvey
Cornrows
While Mabel may not play around with her hair hue (yet), she is never one to shy away from a fearless style. We especially love this braided cornrow look on the singer, giving her a seriously cool-girl edge! Credit: @mabelmcvey
