On-trend? Check. Effortless? Double check. It’s no wonder off-duty waves are the undisputed hair uniform for every It girl worth her Gucci loafers. This look is IRL proof that styling doesn’t have to be complicated to make a lasting impact. Plus, it offers up serious versatility with equal work and weekend appeal.
Revealing her secret tricks to creating a textured ‘do, watch Noelle’s soft spirals come to life in the video, above.
How to create Noelle’s tousled tresses
Step 2: Place a few drops of the Nexxus Youth Renewal Elixir in your palms and run your hands through your hair from mid-lengths to tips. “This protects my hair throughout the day and adds volume and shine.”
Step 3: Take a small amount of the VO5 Frizz Free Cream on your fingers and comb them through your hair. “I use this all over the hair as a heat protectant as I’m using a styling tool to create my everyday loose waves.”
Step 4: Dry your hair thoroughly using a hair dryer and divide into two sections.
Step 5: Using a straightener, curl equal sections of the hair, alternating the direction between curling towards, and away from your face.
Step 6: Once each section has been curled with the straightener, use your finger to twirl it into a spiral so it retains its shape.
Step 7: Spray the TONI&GUY Sea Salt Texturising Spray onto your palms before running them over the surface of your hair to help loosen the curls and give them a more undone vibe. “I prefer to spritz this in my hand and then run it through my hair.”
Step 8: Hold your style in place with a spritz of the TONI&GUY Tousled Texture Creation Hairspray. “I like touching my hair whilst I’m spraying this onto it to add more texture.”
Noelle’s Hair CV
What’s your hair type?
It would say it’s quite fine, even though I have a lot of it, and straight.
What are your go-to hair products?
A heat protectant, texturising spray and good towel!
Do you have any daily hair struggles?
My scalp is quite sensitive so not all shampoos work for me, other than that my hair is very healthy. I did a massive chop last year which helped me cut down my styling time too.
Tell us one piece of hair advice you would give to someone with hair like you…
Don’t be afraid to cut it! I am so happy I chopped my long hair off and haven’t regretted it one bit.
