Every year there is a standout movie that creates so much hype and hysteria that we all HAVE to take notice. And for 2018, it has to be Black Panther.

Playing the character of Ramonda, Angela Bassett ensured all eyes were on her with not only a stunning, yellow-fringed jumpsuit, but with her equally-stunning long raven waves, which she styled smooth at the roots.

Janelle Monae

It has been a busy few days for Janelle Monae, who attended not only the Grammy Awards over the weekend but was at the Black Panther premiere, too.

Totally transforming her Grammys look, Janelle ditched the blonde highlights she wore for the awards show and instead opted for a black and gold kufi hat to top off her dark long pixie.

Lupita Nyong’o

Already one of our fave curly hair heroes, Lupita Nyong’o is the poster girl for intricate and gorgeous natural hairstyles.

Starring in the movie as Nakia, Lupita looked like a princess with her jewelled gown – but it was her sky-high, tightly-wound bun that we really loved.

Danai Gurira

Making a strong case for the buzzcut is actress Danai Gurira. Jazzing up her cropped haircut to ensure it looked extra special for the night, Danai added a subtle metal headband to finish off her look. Who said you can’t have fun with short ‘dos, too?!

We all know that Rapunzel-length tresses are trending right now. From Beyoncé to Demi Lovato (and Kim KW ofc), this celebrity fave style just added a new member.

Actress Chelsea Tavares wore her extra long glossy dark hair in a single braid, which she elegantly styled over her shoulder.
