Fearne Cotton

TV and radio presenter Fearne Cotton always wows us in the hair department, no matter how she styles her long, golden locks. At the BBC Music Awards, the star styled her mane into very soft, elegant waves, which came complete with an on-trend centre parting. Plus, just look at how shiny her strands are – just when we thought we couldn’t love this British sweetheart anymore!

Katie Piper

Mega-babe Katie Piper’s blunt bob – which reaches chin height – was styled into textured waves for the red carpet event. Alongside her chic ombre ‘do, a simple red dress and some nude lipstick were all that were needed to pull Katie’s classy look together.

Editor’s tip: If you have a super chic bob like Katie’s, and want to ramp up the volume of your tresses, simply spritz your mane with the Toni&Guy Sea Salt Texturising Spray, for a luscious, lived-in finish!

Thought messy updos were only suitable for lounging around at home? Well, not anymore: because they actually make for the ideal ‘do for a glamorous night out, too!

All it takes, is to very gently backcomb your hair for extra volume, and to tie your tresses up into an undone bun. Then pull a few tendrils of hair free from the front, to perfectly frame your face! Now add a slick of red lippy and a dazzling choker, and you’ll be ready for any red carpet event coming your way.

Pixie Lott

When Pixie Lott rose to prominence in 2009 with her hit single ‘Mama Do (Uh Oh, Uh Oh)’, we instantly fell in love with both her music and her mane! Normally known for flaunting her blonde strands straight and sleek, the singer decided to switch things up at the BBC Music Awards, by opting for voluminous, bouncy curls. With the look suiting her to a T, it makes us wonder: why she didn’t make the change sooner?

Editor’s tip: Do you want to get stunning ringlet’s like Pixie’s? Yes? In that case, spritz your mane with some TRESemmé Heat Defence Styling Spray and divide your tresses into inch-wide sections. Now grab your curling wand and curl each section of hair. Once you have curled your whole head, run your fingers through your strands to loosen them, et voila!
