Girls actress Allison Williams has become renowned for her long, luscious brunette locks – but that’s all about to change! The star recently underwent a major hair transformation for her Allure magazine cover shoot, and she’s now sporting a new light blonde hair colour.
As you can imagine, she looks pretty different, and in fact, we almost didn’t recognise her with blonde hair. If you haven’t yet caught a glimpse at her new ‘do, keep on scrolling.

Taking to Instagram to debut her new ‘do, Allison posted the above photo, alongside the caption: “Here it is IRL. Still getting used to it, but I dig it”.
Her role as Marnie Michaels on the hit TV show Girls required her to keep her locks brunette, but now that she’s wrapped up filming for the final season, she’s totally free to experiment with new hair colours! So, we can understand why she went for such a dramatic mane change.
For the Allure photoshoot, Allison’s hair was dyed a shade of platinum blonde, but in the selfie she posted, her mane looks a little darker. Maybe she drew inspiration from Katy Perry, Rihanna and Olivia Wilde, as these A-list ladies have recently debuted blonde locks! Credit: @aw
