So what exactly is the Breakthrough Awards, you ask? In its sixth year, the annual ceremony acknowledges and awards innovators, with the who’s who of the tech industry including Facebook’s Mark Zuckerburg and Google co-founder Sergey Brin adding a touch of glitz and glamour to proceedings.

Actress Mila Kunis and husband Ashton Kutcher made a rare public appearance when they attended the 6th annual Breakthrough Awards 2017.
