How to get stunning soft curls
Prep your hair.
Before you start styling your noughties hair, start by washing it with the Dove Advanced Hair Series Pure Care Dry Oil Shampoo and Conditioner.
This wash and care set is a great base for party hair, as it gives your locks a luscious sheen, as well as a huge moisture boost!
Apply mousse and blowdry hair.
We bet you’ll want to know how to make your party curls last, right? Well, the secret lies with a volumising hair mousse, like the VO5 Volume Mousse!
Apply a golf ball-sized amount to the palms of your hands and evenly distribute it through damp hair. This will give your tresses the fabulous bounce and volume this curly hairstyle needs, as well as a light hold.
Once you’ve done this, blowdry your hair to activate the mousse.
Section and curl.
Then take your curling tong and a 2-inch wide section of your hair, and curl it away from your face. Remember: since you’re creating soft curls, you only need to hold it on the iron for about 5-7 seconds.
Continue to curl your strands in 2-inch sections, until you have a head full of soft curls!
Set with hairspray.
