Love Island’s Olivia Attwood reveals post-Island hair transformation

Like the rest of the UK this summer, we at the All Things Hair HQ became utterly and unashamedly obsessed with the reality TV wonder that was Love Island.
Now that the show is officially over for another year (sobs), there are 2 things getting us through – the rumours of a winter edition of the show (#praying) and religiously stalking the cast members’ Instagram profiles, so that we can pretend we’re still involved in their lives.
It was during one of our daily (okay, hourly) stalking sessions yesterday that we spotted that Olivia Attwood – AKA everyone’s favourite fiery princess – had treated herself to a post-Island hair makeover. Yet to see it for yourself? Then let us be the first to introduce the new Olivia Attwood…
Olivia from Love Island just debuted a post-Island makeover
The 26-year-old motorsport grid girl recently hit 1.2 million followers on Instagram and it was there that she first let us in on her new look.
During her time on the show, she was known for her flowing, blonde Barbie hair which she regularly wore in glamorous, tumbling curls. Yet as you can see, she has chopped her long, blonde hair to just above chest length and she’s looking even more gorgeous than ever!
Olivia also added layers of varying lengths throughout her mane to add body and texture, including shorter side-swept bangs, which look fab with her thick-rimmed glasses.
Fans rushed in to show their support for Liv’s new look, filling her comments with responses like: “Love the shorter hair. Absolutely gorg ? ? ?. Makes ur eyes pop” and “Love the new hair do! Lookin gorgeous as per ❤❤❤” – and we’d have to agree with them! We wonder what Chris thinks of his lovely lady’s new look?
Editor’s tip: To recreate Olivia’s gorgeous, off-duty airport look, all you need to do is loosely curl your hair with a curling wand to add some waves. Then to get that tousled, beachy effect, simply take a texturising spray (we heart the VO5 Dry Texturising Spray) and spritz all over your hair to add an undone, lived-in vibe. Et voila!
