Kate Middleton wows at Wimbledon with her shortest hair yet!
She's gone short for the summer!
When it comes to hair, the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton has pretty much got it down. Her glossy brunette locks and perfect wavy blow-out are the inspiration for women the world over, so when news broke that she’d turned up to the first day of Wimbledon rocking a noticeably shorter style, we didn’t know quite know how to take it. How could Kate possibly have parted ways with her trademark style?!
We needn’t have feared though, as her new look is every inch as gorgeous as before, just a little shorter for summer. Take a peek at her new length below and let us know what you think!
Kate Middleton shocks tennis fans with a new shorter style
35-year-old Kate attended the opening day of Wimbledon yesterday and while the attention should have been on the court, naturally we couldn’t help but be a little preoccupied with the Duchess’ new ‘do! Her chocolate brown tresses have been cut to just below collarbone length, significantly shorter than the long, flowing curls she’d been spotted rocking in London just last week.
While she’s chopped a good few inches from her length, Kate wore her hair in her usual bouncy blow-out, proving that shorter, medium-length hairstyles can still be just as versatile when it comes to styling.
Whether it’s the rare hot weather we’ve been having here in the UK that’s prompted Kate to go shorter for summer or she’s decided to try a more mum-friendly, low-maintenance style, we’re big fans of her new look. Showing that you don’t always have to go super short in order to give your mane a seasonal refresh, Kate’s hair is looking healthy, full and fabulous!
