After trying various shades of blonde over the years, Debby has settled on this glossy rich auburn shade and we think it complements her skin tone perfectly.

JoJo’s blonde ombre

Sure, it’s usual to go lighter in summer and darker for fall, but why would you want to stick to the norm? Leave (Get Out) singer JoJo is proof that you can totally go blonde for autumn with this sandy blonde ombre.

By maintaining a darker colour at the roots, it gives the look a more lived-in, grown-out vibe rather than a fresh, sunkissed blonde. This ensures that the look is both bright and warming, as well as making sure that it’ll transition with ease! Credit: @iamjojo

Ashley Tisdale’s medium golden brown

Going Brunette might seem like one of the more obvious fall hair colour trends, but as Ashley Tisdale shows, playing around with different undertones can have a transformative effect on the whole vibe of your colour.

Warm, golden tones like Ashley’s are brilliant at warming up your features and stopping you from looking washed out – something especially important now that the sun is a rarity and we’re all a shade paler! Credit: @ashleytisdale

Editor’s tip: If Ashley’s colour is up your street, we suggest using a colour mask every so often to ensure your brunette stays looking fresh between dye jobs.

The TIGI Catwalk Fashionista Brunette Mask is perfect for this, as it’s formulated especially for warm-toned brunettes and helps to boost your colour’s vibrancy if it starts to look dull.

If ever there was a perfect time of year to go red, autumn is it, wouldn’t you agree? If you’re already a blonde, a subtler strawberry blonde shade (like Bella Thorne‘s) won’t be too difficult to achieve and won’t require as much upkeep as a more vivid Jessica Rabbit cherry hue.
