4 Easy-to-create hairstyles for a night out
Messy side ponytail
A ponytail is, of course, one of the easiest hairstyles to create, although a simple, classic low pony just won’t do for a swanky night out on the town. So, if you’re looking for truly fuss-free hairstyles for a night out, try this casually messy side pony, instead!
To get the look, backcomb your hair at the crown and top of your head to create a slightly messy, voluminous look, then gently brush your hair backwards and gather into a high side ponytail. Secure with a hairband before taking a small piece of hair to wrap around the base to disguise it. Finally, spritz with TRESemmé Ultimate Hold Hairspray to lock the style in place all night long.
Twisted, textured bun
While this beautiful updo looks complicated, it’s actually a hairstyle that’s so easy to do that it’ll probably soon become your go-to choice, whatever the occasion. To achieve this ‘do, gather your hair into a low ponytail, and secure in place with a hairband. Then wrap the tail of your pony around its base, as if you were about to create a topknot, and tuck in the end. Finally, secure your bun in place with bobby pins, and gently pull out a few strands to create texture. Add some VO5 Classic Styling Firm Hold Hairspray – and you’re done!
The cheat’s beehive
For a fab vintage-inspired look, try this super easy and quick take on the classic beehive. This hairstyle is so fun to create that you’ll want to wear it for any occasion!
Start by taking a section of hair from the back of your head in a semi-circle, and backcomb the underside to create volume. Then twist the ends of your section to wrap them into a small bun, and secure in place with bobby pins. Now, gather the rest of your hair, and put it in a bun, just underneath your backcombed section. Finish with TRESemmé Freeze Hold Hairspray to lock the style in place.
Looped ponytail
Perfect for straight hair that’s on its second day (so is perhaps looking a little flat), this hairstyle is super easy to create. Simply sweep your hair into a low ponytail, and secure it in place with a hairband at the nape of your neck. Then, with your fingers, create a small gap in your hair just above the base of your pony, and loop its tail through the hole, pulling the end to create a loose, undone knot. Work some of the Toni&Guy Sea Salt Texturing Spray into the tail of your pony to get a more textured effect.
