Simple half-up, half-down braid

An easy, yet effective way to style your natural curls it to opt for a half-up, half-down braid. This pretty and utterly feminine hairstyle is super easy to do, plus it will keep your hair off your face without requiring you to go for a full updo.

Start by taking a 3 inch-wide section of hair from either side of your temples, and plait each section until you reach the end. Secure with clear elastics, then bring each plait to the back of your head until they meet in the middle. Tie them both together with another clear elastic, mist a little VO5 Firm Hold Hairspray (£2.99*) over the top, and you’re good to go!

Curly faux bob

Got long hair but want to create the illusion of a short ‘do? Then you better get acquainted with the curly faux bob. To achieve this sophisticated, classy look, start by loosely braiding your hair into two standard plaits (these should start from around the same level as your chin). Then, working on one braid at a time, gently tuck it underneath your hair to form a faux bob. Pin each side in place with some bobby pins that match the colour of your hair – et voilà!

One-sided flat twist

If you love wearing your curls down, here’s a super easy, yet stunning hairstyle for naturally curly hair. Start by applying some Toni&Guy Prep Curl Defining Oil (£6.99*) to your tresses to help define your coils. Then, on one side of your head, take a 2 inch-wide section of hair from near your temple and divide it into 2 smaller, equal-sized sections. Carefully twist the pieces around each other, grabbing more hair from each side of your twist as you go. Keep on twisting until you reach the back of your head, where you’ll need to secure your flat twist with some bobby pins. See? We told you it was easy!
