Emily Ratajkowski just gave the classic side braid a high fashion update

We recently raved about much we loved Emily Ratajkowski’s red carpet boxer braids., and now the the star has gone and wowed us again by rocking yet another stunning plaited style! That’s right, the American actress and model attended Paris Fashion Week sporting a romantic side braid. However, this wasn’t just any side braid – oh no, this braid had been spruced up with a chic black ribbon, and it looked uber fashionable. If you haven’t seen Emily’s pretty FROW style yet, just keep on scrolling!

Emily Ratajkowski’s side braid style featured an on-trend twist

Emily debuted her pretty side braid at the Valentino autumn/winter 2017 show, where she sat alongside members of the fashion elite, including Christian Louboutin and Olivia Palermo. For the event, Emily’s long brunette tresses were fashioned into a relaxed side braid, which was secured at the end with a simple black ribbon that had been fashioned into a bow. A few tendrils of hair were left dangling loose at the front, and were curled around her face for a romantic feel.

Hair bows have been spotted at numerous shows this season, including Marchesa, Temperley London and Tory Burch. And considering that Emily is trying out the trend IRL, we reckon that we’ll be seeing side braids and hair bows a lot more in the coming months.
