Now, braided hairstyles aren’t solely reserved for ladies with longer locks, don’t you know? Oh no, those of us with shorter hair can get in on the action, too! And this side French braid is just perfect for shorter manes.

How to get the look:

1. First, create a deep side parting (it doesn’t matter which side you choose).

2. Next, starting from the parting and working towards the opposite temple, start French braiding a section of hair, about an inch wide, along your hairline.

3. Stop braiding after about 2 inches and then plait your hair down to the end, securing it with a clear hairband.

4. Finish by styling the rest of your hair however you prefer (a textured, bedhead-inspired look works perfectly with this style!).
