Fashion week may be sister Kendall Jenner‘s territory, but Kim Kardashian West has managed to steal the mane spotlight with her new hair colour. Yep, once again the social media and reality TV star has done something major to her hair…
Amid news that she is expecting another baby (congrats!), the star decided to dye her signature dark locks to a Khaleesi-inspired silver colour for New York Fashion Week. Needless to say we’re living for it! To see the showstopping look for yourself, take a peek below.
Kim Kardashian debuts silver blonde hair at NYFW
Lately, the Keeping up with the Kardashian’s star has been channelling major Cher vibes with her glossy, dark brown Rapunzel locks. So when pictures of her with this striking shade came to light, we couldn’t believe it was her.
As you can tell, her trademark dark chocolate tresses have been switched up for a icy hue to give her a totally ethereal look. Her mane has also been lightly tousled, perfectly complementing her fresh, cool-girl ‘do. #Slay!
Editor’s tip: Tempted to go blonde like Kim? Then you’ll probably already know that this process can be very damaging to your mane. But don’t fret: you can help to improve the look and feel of coloured hair by investing in the Nexxus Emergencée Restoring Masque!
This specially-formulated mask contains molecules that penetrate the hair fibre to bond the damaged protein structure together, and others that coat and cushion the outside of it to help make it more resilient.
Followers of the 36-year-old will know that this isn’t the first time she’s experimented with platinum blonde hair. Having gone buttery blonde for Paris Fashion Week once before, Kim took things to a whole new level with this shimmering, frosty colour — perfect for autumn, no?
Although we’re not entirely sure if she has actually dyed her hair silver or if it’s the work of a clever wig, we’d lying if we didn’t say it: this is one of her best looks to date. Thanks for #hairinspo, Kimmy!
