She’s given her ‘fro a seasonal update!

Fans of American singer/songwriter Solange Knowles will know that over the years she’s become a major champion of natural hair. Unlike her older sister Beyoncé, who regularly switches up her hair, Solange has generally stayed true to her natural black tresses. So, we were pretty surprised when we discovered that the star had undergone a mane makeover! Solange has dyed her ‘fro and is now sporting much lighter, auburn brown hair, and we have to say, it looks stunning! If you’re yet to catch a glimpse of her new look, just keep scrolling…

The Don’t Touch My Hair’ singer debuted her new look on the FROW at Chloé‘s autumn/winter 2017 fashion show in Paris. As you can see from the photo above, her previously dark locks have been dyed a shade of sun-kissed auburn brown. Although Solange switched up her hair colour, she stuck to her usual afro hairstyle for the event and embraced her natural hair texture.

Solange is the latest star to opt for a red-toned, hygge-inspired hue this year, following in the footsteps of fellow celebrities like Emma Roberts. And while we’ve always loved Solange’s trademark dark ‘fro, her new shade adds a element of warmth to her complexion, and has proved that it’s the perfect hue for Spring!

Editor’s tip: Has Solange’s new hairstyle inspired you to try out an auburn brown hair colour, too? If so, don’t forget to invest in a shampoo and conditioner that’s been formulated with coloured hair in mind. We recommend the TRESemmé Colour Revitalise Vibrance Protection Shampoo and Conditioner, which will help to maintain your colour’s vibrancy.
