Kaia Gerber just got bangs and she looks EXACTLY like her supermodel mama
Are we seeing double? ?
She might not be a household name just yet, but up-and-coming teen model Kaia Gerber is certainly making waves in the fashion industry.
The daughter of ’90s supermodel Cindy Crawford, the young starlet is signed to the prestigious IMG modelling agency (Bella and Gigi Hadid are also on their books, FYI) and she’s already got numerous magazine covers under her belt, including Vogue Paris, as well as major campaigns for brands like Marc Jacobs and Miu Miu.
Obviously, her good genes have played some part in her success, but as if her doe eyes and light brown tresses didn’t already make her look like a younger version of her dear mum, this week she unveiled a new ‘do on Instagram that pretty much confirms that they’re actually the same person.
Kaia Gerber is her mum’s mini-me with new bangs
The teen shared a teaser photo on her Instagram earlier this week with the caption “coming soon”, tagging Teen Vogue in the pic, suggesting this snapshot is part of a shoot with the US mag.
Her usual centre parting has been switched up in favour of ‘70s style shaggy bangs, reminiscent of the look her fashion icon mother used to rock back in the day.
Evidently, we weren’t the only ones who had to do a double take, with many of her followers commenting things like “Dear Lord, could you look any more like your mum???” and “Holy Moly! I thought this was Cindy”!
Some stars resort to using faux bangs or wigs on set, but we’ve since seen pics of Kaia with her mum rocking her brand new bangs, so, it looks like this style is here to stay- at least until her next photoshoot! Credit: @kaiagerber
Editor’s tip: Kaia’s gorgeous beachy waves are key to creating this stunning summer style. To DIY, we recommend using the TRESemmé Perfectly (Un)Done Wave Creating Sea Foam on towel-dried hair to help add a tousled, textured finish to your strands.
