Not sure your mane is suitable for balayage? Medium-length hair is the ideal – and these celebs prove it!

We all know that those with Rapunzel-worthy locks can work almost any hair colouring technique out there, especially the much coveted balayage. Medium hair, however, seems a little trickier to emulate the trend on (sigh) – but with our round up of the hottest celebrity balayage looks, that’s all about to change…

Over the past few seasons, balayage has gone from strength to strength, being experimented with in so many shades and colour combinations. And since the technique uses a free hand application, it allows for a more natural and modern finish with less noticeable root regrowth – hooray!

So whether you’re currently blonde, brunette, a red head or, well any hue, there is a medium-length balayage look waiting for you, below.
