How to Do the Twisted Side Bun Hairstyle
Get rid of frizz
It doesn’t have to be perfect but you need a slightly polished look for this hairstyle to work, so make sure your hair is moisturized and frizz-free so your strands are not all over the place. To keep them under control, use Cream Silk Dry Rescue Conditioner after washing with shampoo.
Dry your hair with a towel and blow dry as you normally would. Then, divide your hair into three sections: two small sections on both sides and a big section at the back.
Create a bun
Put the big section into a low side ponytail and secure with elastic. Twist the tail outwards and slightly upwards to create a bun. Secure with bobby pins.
Twist and tuck
Take the small section on the left side and twist outwards. Bring the twisted section around the back of your head and pin it to the bun on the opposite side. Take the final section, twist, and wrap around the bun. Secure with bobby pins, then Tuck loose strands behind the bun.
Set with hairspray
Spritz hair with TRESemmé Freeze Hold Hairspray to keep strands in place.
Wasn’t that easy? Now you’re ready to take that twisted side bun hairstyle to your next event!
