Create the first bun

Take a small section of hair near your crown. Twist it and wrap it around its base to form a bun. Tuck the ends of your hair underneath your bun, then secure the bun in place using bobby pins.

Make three more buns

Depending on the length of your hair, you can add two or three more buns. Just get another small section of hair right below your first bun, twist it, and form a bun shape. Again, secure it with bobby pins. Repeat the process until you’ve created a series of buns.

Fishtail Braid Ponytail

Tie your hair

Brush your hair and gather it on your crown. Then, put it into a high ponytail.

Braid it

To create a fishtail braid, divide your hair first into two vertical sections. Then, get a smaller section of hair from the outermost part of the right portion. Cross this small section over to the center. Do the same to the left section. Repeat until you reach the tips.

Secure the ends

Tie the tips of your fishtail braid with an elastic.

Crown Braid

Part your hair

Divide your hair into two vertical sections. Make sure to part your hair at the center to make the sections equal.

Start braiding

Create a Dutch braid on one side by dividing this section into three smaller sections, putting the right section under the middle section, then putting the left section under the new middle section. Braid upwards and add more hair as you go along.

Continue braiding

Braid all the way to the left section of your hair. Keep braiding until you reach the tips of the left side. Then, secure the ends with an elastic.

Finish your crown

Gently pull the sides of your braid to make it look thicker. Then, loop the tips of your hair underneath the rest of your braid to complete its crown shape. Tuck the rest of your hair underneath your crown braid using bobby pins.
