Have you ever heard of a loop braid? It’s a braided hairstyle that consists of loops rather than sections of hair that have been crossed over each other. It’s a great way to add accent to your down ‘do even when you’re staying at home. If you want to try a different type of braid, go for this hairstyle. Read on to learn how to create a loop braid.

How to Make a Loop Braid

1

Start with clean hair

Wash your hair with Sunsilk Strong & Long Shampoo to make it ready for styling with a loop braid. This shampoo has biotin that deeply nourishes your hair to help it grow strong and long.

Find your center

Use the pointy end of your tail comb to part your hair in the middle. Leave a small section on each side to frame your face.

Spritz to texturize

Spray TRESemmé Salon Finish Extra Hold Hairspray on your hair to add texture. Place the bottle 10 to 15 cm away from your hair to ensure even application and to avoid product clumping on one spot.

Create a loop

Take a small section of hair at the back of your head and roll it upwards around your finger to create the first loop, leaving the rest of your hair down.

Keep loopin'

Take another small section from the rest of your hair through the first loop and roll it upward again around your finger to create a second loop. Repeat this step until you’ve created enough loops from one side of your head to the other.

When you reach your last loop, insert your hair completely and let it fall. Then, secure it in place using bobby pins. Your loop braid is done.
