Prep hair

Part hair
With a tail comb, create a straight and neat center part from your hairline up to your crown. This will serve as your guide in creating two braids.
Start braiding
Take a small section of hair on the upper half of one side of your hair. Create a Dutch braid using this section. Braid until you reach just a little past your crown. Put the braid in place with a clip and leave it to work on the other side of your hair.
Braid the other side
Repeat and create the same Dutch braid on the other side of your hair. Finish the braid at the same point where the first braid as ended.
Tie your hair
Remove the clip. Then, tie your hair into a ponytail including the two braids you just made.
