Turn to this quick casual hairstyle when you’re in a hurry but want to look pretty

If you’re like us who set the alarm at 6am and actually get up two hours and 23 snoozes later, then we bet hair styling is too far down on your priority list, if it’s even there at all. The messy bun hairstyle is probably your best friend, which you manage to create halfway out the door. Not that there’s anything wrong with messy buns—they’re stylish and sexy.

But you see there are other pretty ways to wear your hair when mornings just never seem long enough. There’s no reason to look meh even if you’re not willing to give up that extra hour (or two) in bed. Laureen Uy shares with us how she does her hair when she’s in a rush in this casual hairstyle tutorial. We’re pretty sure you’ll have 90 seconds to spare in the mornings, so watch the video below and get pretty—fast.

How to cop Laureen Uy’s tease-and-tie casual hairstyle

1

Prep

Start with clean hair. Wash your mane with Sunsilk Expert Perfect Straight Shampoo. This will make your hair is straight, silky, and frizz-free.

2

Tease

Pull your hair up and brush with a paddle brush, slightly teasing to create body and volume.

3

Spray

Spritz the teased part with hairspray. We recommend TONI&GUY Body Amplify Creation Hairspray. Its firm, reliable hold will keep your strands in place.

4

Twist

Take two thin sections from the front and twist all the way to the ends.

5

Tie

Pull the two twisted sections over to the back of your head and join them together with an elastic.

This casual hairstyle is pretty and effortless, and perfect for the everyday grind–perhaps even for movie nights and casual dinners. But the best part is, it’s so fast and easy to make, you can fly out the door in 90 seconds! What’s not to love?
