Jay Wee gives free hair makeover at All Things Hair Live x Jay Wee

Professional hairstylist Jay Wee created gorgeous hairstyles for three girls at All Things Hair Live x Jay Wee last September 27. These girls won the free makeover by subscribing to All Things Hair Philippines, posting their dream hairstyle on Instagram, and explaining why they wanted Jay Wee to style their hair.

Jay Wee shares styling tips and tricks

Jay Wee gave one of the girls beach waves to add texture and volume to her shoulder-length hair. Then, he created a trendy Korean-inspired hairstyle for the second winner. He ironed her bob inwards and styled her see-through bangs to go with the Korean look. The third winner has long, straight hair, so Jay Wee made big waves to spice up her ‘do.

To help him decide on a hairstyle for the winners, Jay Wee considered their face shapes first. He then asked about their personal style and taste, like how they usually wear their hair. Lastly, Jay Wee considered their hair types in picking a style that is suitable.

After giving free hair makeovers, Jay Wee gave free advice to customers who bought hair products at the All Things Hair Live Booth. He advised one girl with long, colored hair to always keep her locks moisturized by daily conditioning and weekly hair mask treatments. He also showed how to make hair wavy using a flat iron.

 Jay Wee picks his favorite hair trend

Among the hair trends that are in today, Jay Wee loves super long hair. “Starting last year, bumabalik na ulit ang long hair. There was a time na the long bob was on trend. Everyone was cutting their hair. Ngayon, the super long hair is coming back. It’s super feminine and at the same time, it’s sexy. You can do a lot of things with long hair,” he says.
