Blow-drying can help you achieve straight hair. Firstly, you’ll need to section your hair into four parts and clip three out of the four sections to achieve nice blow dry hair. Then, take the blower with the concentration nozzle on and use one hand to firmly hold the ends of the loose section of hair. You can also alternately use a roller brush to help straighten your tresses. Now, position the nozzle downwards while blow-drying your hair. Do the same with the other sections to achieve shiny and smooth straight hair.

If you’ve been wondering why you aren’t getting nice waves and curls from your blow-dryer, it must be because you are not following the right process. It’s important to make sure that your hair is 80% dry before styling and adding curls. Wet hair is heavy, which makes it impossible to achieve nice curls.

Begin curling your hair by creating three horizontal layers. Take the first section of hair and blow-dry it using a roller brush to pull the roots upwards. Do this until the section is completely dry. Then, roll your hair all the way up with the brush and hit it with a blast of hot air for a few seconds. Blast it again with cool air for a few seconds as soon as it is completely dry. Then, release your blow dry hair slowly from the roller brush. To make sure it retains its shape, use your fingers to roll your hair back up and secure with a pin to create pin curls. Repeat this process until your hair is completely pinned up. After letting it sit for a couple of minutes, release the pins and shake out your curls. Trust your fingers to do the magic for your hair.

3. Voluminous

Still not impressed enough? Here is another trick your blow-dryer can do for your hair. For volumizing your tresses, you need to have your cuticles expand by doing the ‘blast-drying’ method. To do this, you need to take out the concentration nozzle from your blow dryer to add volume and texture. Wait till your hair is 80% dry to apply hair mousse at the roots, which adds volume and keeps your hair from falling limp. Then, blow dry your hair again to let the mousse dry into your mane—a trick that helps activate the polymer content to make the mousse swell and add volume to your blow dry hair.

The techniques you use to blow dry hair will dictate the result, giving you a lot of hairstyle options. Looks like you have a new BFF!
