Steps in Creating a Halo Braid
You want your hair smooth and easy to style, so start by washing it with Sunsilk Smooth & Manageable Shampoo and Sunsilk Smooth & Manageable Conditioner.
Add grip to your hair for easy styling
Spray your strands with TONI&GUY Sea Salt Texturising Spray to give your hair grip and texture. This helps make styling easier and keeps your hair from falling flat by lunch time.
Start Dutch braiding
Get a section of hair from the front, divide it into three parts, and start Dutch braiding. To do a Dutch braid, cross the left section under the middle section, then cross the right section under the new middle section. Add a thin section of hair to the left section before crossing it again under the middle one. Repeat with the right section.
Continue Dutch braiding
Continue to Dutch braid around your head, following your hairline, until you reach the back.
Switch to a regular braid
Once you reach the other side of your head, switch to a regular three-strand braid.
The halo braid is a charming hairstyle that you can wear to daytime parties, and it’s perfect for summer, too. Now, all you have to do is wear your favorite dress to complement your updo, and you’re all set.
So what do you think? Cute, right? Now let’s try doing it on ourselves!
