How to do a simple braided headband hairstyle

1

Start clean

Because this hairstyle leaves most of your hair down, it gives you an opportunity to show off your mane, so you’d want beautiful, healthy hair. For soft, smooth, damage-free hair, use Dove Intense Repair Shampoo and Dove Intense Repair Conditioner. Then after wash, dry hair like you normally would.

2

Divide hair into sections

Take 2-3 inch sections of hair on either side of your face. Then, take one of those sections and separate into two parts: the top and the bottom. Get the top part and clip on the back of your head. Do the same on the other side.

3

Braid

Create a tight three-strand braid out of the bottom part of both sections and secure with elastics.

4

Create a headband

Take one of the braids and pull it across the opposite side and secure with bobby pins. Take the other braid and do the same. Then, remove the hair clips that hold the top parts of the two side sections and use them to hide the bobby pins.

And that’s it! An easy-peasy braided headband hairstyle that takes less than five minutes to create!
